Kolkata Knight Riders is professional Indian Premier League team based in Kolkata. Kolkata Knight Riders was own by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and actress Juhi Chawla. Home ground ok KKR is Eden Garden.
This team gain so much popularity due to its association with celebrity owners. KKR became IPL champion in 2012 by defeating Chennai Super Kings and they also won in 2014 by defeating Kings XI Punjab. KKR has longest win streak by any Indian team in T20 (14).
Team ownership bought stake in Caribbean Premier League Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel in June 2015 which renamed as Trinbago Knight Riders in 2016.
