    5 players whose compensation in SA20 is more than in IPL

    The pristine SA20 tounament starts on January 10 in South Africa. The opposition vows to get an upset South African cricket and lift the fan following of the game in the rainbow country. Strangely, each of the six groups of the opposition are claimed by IPL proprietors.

    Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Rulers, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Monsters, SunRisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals own establishments in SA20. The six groups in South Africa’s association are MI Cape Town, Jo’burg Super Lords, Pretoria Capitals, Durban’s Super Goliaths, SunRisers Eastern Cape and Paarl Royals.

    1 Tristan Stubbs – Most costly pick at SA20 Closeout

    Tristan Stubbs was the most costly marking at the debut SA20 Closeout. The youthful South African wicketkeeper hitter procured an agreement worth R 9.2 million (₹4.41 crore) from SunRisers Eastern Cape in the player closeout.

    Stubbs was unsold at the IPL 2022 Sale last year. Five-time champions Mumbai Indians marked him as a swap for just ₹20 lakh. MI held him at a similar cost in 2023, prompting a gigantic contrast of ₹4.21 crore in his compensation in the two contests.

    2 Donovan Ferreira

    Donavon Ferreira is another youthful South African wicketkeeper hitter to highlight in the rundown. He’s yet to play senior global cricket, yet the South African player as of now possesses an agreement in two of the world’s greatest T20 competitions.

    Jo’burg Super Lords went all out for Ferreira at the bartering and marked him for R 5.5 million (₹2.64 crore). Half a month after the fact, Rajasthan Royals marked him for ₹50 lakh at the IPL 2023 sale.

    3 Dwaine Pretorius

    4 Odean Smith

    West Indies’ hard-hitting all-rounder Odean Smith was one of the top abroad picks at the SA20 player sell off. MI Cape Town spent R 1.7 million (₹81.54 lakh) for his administrations this season.

    Smith had a major IPL contract in 2022, however his compensation went down in 2023. Gujarat Titans roped him in at his base cost of ₹50 lakh for the 2023 season.

    5 Lungi Ngidi

    Lungi Ngidi is one of the top quick bowlers in South African cricket. Paarl Royals laid out R 3.4 million (₹1.63 crore) to sign him at the South African association sell off.

    Very few IPL groups were keen on his administrations however, as Delhi Capitals marked the right-arm pacer for just ₹50 lakh last season. DC have held him at a similar cost in IPL 2023.
