The ultimate objective of Arsenal’s efforts to improve for the upcoming season is to keep up with the dominant teams in Europe. The Gunners, on the other hand, aren’t just focusing on signing new players; they’re also closing several sales to free up cash for big-name signings.

The Gunners are considering six potential departures in the summer transfer market, as reported by Calcio Mercato via Fichajes. Let’s take a closer look at the people who might be leaving.

Kieran Tierney will be the first. Under Mikel Arteta, the Scottish left-back has fallen down the pecking order with the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu’s switch to the left-back position. His progress has also been hampered by injuries, which almost guarantees his departure.

Albert Sambi Lokonga, a Belgian midfielder, follows on the list. His performances have not impressed, despite the fact that he was a long-term wager for the Gunners. The club has no choice but to sell him as a result of this.

Nuno Tavares, a right-back from Portugal, is also under consideration. Even though he did well at Olympique de Marseille, he is not in Arteta’s plans and gives Arsenal a chance to make a lot of money.

Folarin Balogun, a young English striker, has been attracting attention with his performances at Stade Reims. The Gunners will attempt to capitalize on his impressive record of 16 goals in 26 games, despite the fact that he is not currently a member of Arenal’s team.

One of Arsenal’s brightest prospects, Emile Smith Rowe has since been replaced in the rotation by Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. Given his high value in the Premier League, the club now views him as a valuable asset that can be sold.

Last but not least, Granit Xhaka is a crucial member of Arteta’s starting eleven, but his contract is set to end in the summer of 2024. As a result of the club’s intention to sign a new midfielder, Xhaka could leave the Emirates Stadium.

William Saliba was give a chance to prove himself by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta:

Following his massive £27 million transfer in 2019, William Saliba’s highly anticipated Premier League debut came after a long and difficult wait of three years. Many people wondered if Saliba would ever get a chance to show off his skills under Arsenal’s head coach, Mikel Arteta, who had been cautious about the kid.

However, after the defender gave outstanding performances at the renown Stade Velodrome, fans demand that he be included in the preseason lineup. Saliba got his long-awaited chance to show his worth in the fiercely competitive Premier League when Arteta finally gave in.
