According to Catalonian newspaper SPORT, Premier League giant Manchester City has offered Bernardo Silva to Barcelona for €65 million. In 2017, Silva paid approximately €50 million to join the Citizens from AS Monaco, a club in Ligue 1. Since then, he has been a key player for them, helping them win 11 trophies in six years.
However, the Portugal international has recently made it clear that he wants to leave Manchester. For some time, Barcelona has been in talks to sign him. During the transfer window in the previous summer, the Blaugranas were said to be interested in signing Silva.
However, due to the failure of Frenkie de Jong’s proposed transfer to Manchester United, they were unable to pursue a deal. In January, it was said that Xavi’s team tried again to get the attacking midfielder.
