Aakash Chopra believes CSK may be eyeing Rachin Ravindra or Daryl Mitchell as potential Ben Stokes replacements. The franchise let the England Test captain go after he elected to forgo the upcoming IPL season.

Chopra said on Sports 18 that CSK should consider Rachin or Mitchell as potential replacements for Ben Stokes
“They will require an all-around player. Rachin Ravindra might replace Ben Stokes, or they could opt for Daryl Mitchell. This side may not require spinners due to the presence of Ravindra Jadeja, Prashant Solanki, Moeen Ali, and Mitchell Santner. They’ll be able to deal with them.”
Chopra also believes that CSK may require another Indian batter to replace Ambati Rayudu, but he wouldn’t rule out MS Dhoni stepping up and doing the job for the squad. The former cricketer went on to claim that CSK might replace Rayudu with Manish Pandey or Karun Nair.
“They might use another Indian hitter to replace Ambati Rayudu in the batting order. Don’t put money on MS Dhoni. If you are unable to accomplish a task, go to him; he will finish it. So Manish Pandey or Karun Nair may join the yellow team in the auction,” Chopra explained.”
