Al Amerat Cricket Stadium also known as the Oman Cricket Academy Ground is located in Muscat, Oman. The grounds for the league are all set to host the upcoming tournament that is the Legends Cricket League 2022. The fixture is announced starting from January 20, 2022. Al Amerat Cricket Stadium comes under the ownership of the Oman Cricket Board. Whereas the operation of the team is under the Oman Cricket. The ground has a capacity of 3000 whereas the tenants for the venue are the Oman national cricket team.
The venue gets the accreditation from the ICC for hosting the Test cricket matches for the ministry Turf 1.

It is an inaugural season for the tournament Legends League Cricket where three teams are set to be taking part in the league.

Al Amerat Cricket Stadium starts with the hosting of the matches for the Legends League Cricket, The tournament will be taking place in Oman and the grounds will be welcoming all the teams for the tournament.
Pankaj Khimji the Chairman of Oman Cricket stats about the Legends League Cricket 2022 taking place in Oman. He says, “It is an honor for Oman Cricket to host the legends of the game. This is going to be very big for Oman cricket. Such a gathering of star cricketers is unprecedented in Oman. And I am sure this will just be the beginning, an opening up a completely new opportunity for Oman cricket.”
Adding further he says, “We at Oman Cricket would extend the best hospitality to the legends while they entertain the fans with cricket.”
The Commissioner of Legends League Cricket Ravi Shastri says, “We see our League as an opportunity to promote Cricket in new destinations. Amongst all options, Oman came out as the best packages. It would be a great start to a new journey ahead.”
