Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to join Alex Telles at Saudi club Al-Nassr. Both of them were Manchester United teammates.
Telles was acquired by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for £15.4 million ($20 million) during the summer 2020 transfer window and played the 2022–23 season on loan at Sevilla. Telles became the team’s starting left-back before his performance took a turn for the worse.
The left-back, who has been deemed unnecessary by United for some time, will join a long list of players making the switch from European clubs to the Middle East this summer in a £4 million ($5.2 million) deal. He was loaned out following United’s acquisition of Tyrell Malaysia the year before.
