Argentina will be vying for a spot in the knockout rounds of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Saudi Arabia and Argentina are currently tied on three points. However, they are currently in second place in Group C despite having a better goal difference than Poland.

After their shocking loss to Saudi Arabia in their 2022 FIFA World Cup opener, Argentina has moved on thanks to their 2-0 victory over Mexico and Lionel Messi’s return to form.

They will advance to the Round of 16 as the group leaders with a victory over Poland, provided that Saudi Arabia does not defeat Mexico by a larger margin.

They will be eliminated from the FIFA World Cup in 2022 if they lose. They still have a chance of making it to the next round if they draw their match against Poland. Simply put, Argentina will need to put their best foot forward when they face Poland on Wednesday.

Let’s take a look at Argentina’s anticipated lineup for their matchup with Poland now:

    Argentina Goalkeeper – Emiliano Martinez

In the first half of Argentina’s match against Mexico, goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez made an outstanding save from Alexis Vega’s free kick. He will be one of the first names on the teamsheet for Wednesday’s game because of his solid appearance and relatively quiet performance.

    Right back: Nahuel Molina

Lionel Scaloni is likely to make a few adjustments to his team’s lineup for the game against Mexico. When given the chance to start against Mexico, Gonzalo Montiel failed to make a strong case for himself. He is probably going to be swapped by Nahuel Molina for the game against Poland.

    Center-back – Nicolas Otamendi

Nicolas Otamendi, a veteran center-back, performed admirably in the match against Mexico, keeping Mexico’s attackers at bay. In a crucial game, he was a formidable presence at the back for Argentina and dominated his fights.

    Centre-back – Lisandro Martinez

Lisandro Martínez: “We have to be calm, we don't have to put pressure on ourselves, we've been doing things very well, we have to keep working like this. It's nice to represent the national team, and we're going to put our chests out for Argentina.” 🇦🇷 pic.twitter.com/liq7ZRfGNY

Lisandro Martinez, center back, gave a strong performance, repaying Lionel Scaloni’s decision to select him over Cristian Romero. He did a great job of tackling Hirving Lozano, and he held his own against him. Additionally, Martinez successfully intervened when Argentina’s midfielders lost possession.

    Left back Nicolas Tagliafico

Marcos Acuna performed admirably against Mexico, but he suffered from muscle cramps in the final minutes. Nicolas Tagliafico is probably going to take his place here.

    Central midfielder Rodrigo De Paul

Rodrigo De Paul, central midfielder Rodrigo De Paul’s subpar performance against Mexico has questioned his inclusion in the starting lineup. But the Atletico Madrid midfielder has a lot of energy in the middle of the field, so he’s likely to get another chance here because he’s been a regular.

    Central midfielder Enzo Fernandez

Enzo Fernandez, a central midfielder, not only scored the game-winning goal for Argentina against Mexico with a stunning finish, but he was also effective in possession and helped his team gain more control over the game. Against Poland, Fernandez ought to get the chance to start in midfield.

Left midfielder – Alexis Macintosh Allister

Alexis Macintosh Allister’s technical characteristics were in plain view against Mexico and he could have done barely to the point of being compensated with a second progressive beginning.

    Right Midfielder Angel Di Maria

Angel Di Maria is a right midfielder. Even though he hasn’t been at his best, his ability to have good moments could help him stay in the starting lineup. Given that Di Maria is one of their most seasoned players, Scaloni will want him to produce better work and be more consistent.

    Right forward – Lionel Messi

    — Bloomberg (@business) November 29, 2022

Lionel Messi, a right forward, took the game against Mexico by the scruff of its neck and forced it to submit to his greatness.

A skillful assist for Fernandez’s goal came after his wonderful strike from distance. Argentina’s hopes will always be in Messi’s hands, and on Wednesday, he is expected to deliver yet another outstanding performance.

    Left forward: Lautaro Martinez

In the game against Mexico, Lautaro Martinez didn’t do much noteworthy. If Argentina is to make a deep run in the tournament, he will need to perform better.
