Mikel Arteta says that Arsenal won’t have any excuses if they don’t win the Premier League for the first time in two decades after strengthening their team during the January transfer window.

In an effort to maintain their lead at the top of the table. Arteta spent more than 61 million pounds ($50 million) on three new players: Jorginho, a midfielder from Italy.

Leandro Trossard, a forward from Belgium, and Jakub Kiwior, a defender from Poland. Arteta is aware that his team is well-positioned to win the club’s first English title since 2004.

They are five points ahead of Manchester City. Who are in second place and have a game in hand over the champions.

On Friday, Arteta was asked if Arsenal would now have no excuses if they failed to cross the finish line.
He said, “That’s fine if you want to put it that way.” To win, we need to play well and train exceptionally well. We can’t do anything else.”

Last month, Arsenal would have spent even more money on new players, but they didn’t get the Ukraine winger Mykhailo Mudryk. Who went to Chelsea, or the highly regarded Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo?

Arteta is pleased with the support he received from Arsenal’s hierarchy, despite those frustrations.
Arteta stated, “I’m really happy with what we’ve done,” prior to Saturday’s trip to Everton, a struggling team.

We were aware that this market necessitates adaptability, adaptability, and readiness for the inconvenience.

“We’ve done that, and the profile of the person is the most important thing, and the quality we bring in makes us better.

“We wanted to improve and fulfill three main key areas of positions. It was challenging but ultimately beneficial.”

The announcement that Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli had signed a new long-term contract was more good news for Arteta on Friday.

This season, Martinelli, is 21 years old. Has made Arteta a real threat down the left flank with his seven league goals.

Arteta stated, “It is fantastic news.” He is a player with a lot of potentials who is already performing at a very high level despite having a lot to learn.

He revealed that William Saliba, a French defender, and England forward Bukayo Saka may soon be eligible for new contracts.

Under Arteta, Arsenal has not won at Goodison Park. The Spaniard is aware that Everton could benefit from the appointment of new manager Sean Dyche.

The Spaniard, who previously played for Everton, stated. “We have the experience in the last few years about how tough it has been, and we didn’t get the results that we wanted.”

“It’s going to be a really difficult test because the environment will change when there is a new manager,”
