Three-time Grand Slam singles champion Ashleigh Barty shocked the tennis world last month when she announced her retirement from the sport. She retired from tennis six weeks after winning the Australian Open, becoming the first Australian in 44 years to win the Grand Slam. Now they are looking for a return to the field once again. But not tennis and cricket, but in any other sport. She won the Brookwater Golf & Country Club Women’s Club Championship.
Now they are all set to participate in the Global Golf Tournament. The first championship of the Icon Golf Series will be held in New Jersey (USA) in June. This charity tournament will be played on the Liberty National Course. Several stars from the sporting world will take part in this 9-hole team championship, including football club Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez, and English striker Harry Kane.
