The second edition of the five-match Twenty20 International series was a thrilling encounter. It turned out to be a high-scoring contest on a batting-friendly surface. When given the opportunity to bat, the Australians once again demonstrated their dominance, scoring 187 runs for the loss of only one wicket, courtesy to another excellent performance from Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath.
India matched Australia’s score thanks to Smriti Mandhana’s brilliant innings and cameo contributions from Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh. India finally won the Super Over by four runs to even the series at one. Both teams will be pumped up for the third match, which will take place on Wednesday at Brabourne Stadium.
