    Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has broken his leg. He will now have to stay away from the field for a long time. Maxwell was ruled out of the upcoming series against England. It is expected that he will return to the field after the Big Bash League. Maxwell plays for Regal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.
    Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has fractured his leg. Because of this, he will be out of the field for a long time. According to a report in ESPN Cricinfo, he suffered this injury at a birthday party in Melbourne on Saturday. The accident happened when Maxwell was running with a man celebrating his birthday. Then Maxwell’s leg got stuck and he slipped.

    Maxwell may miss Big Bash League

    Glenn Maxwell’s leg came under the leg of another person and he got hurt. While the other person is not hurt. Neither of them was intoxicated. Maxwell is currently out of the ODI series between Australia and England. It is also being speculated that the all-rounder may miss the entire season of the Big Bash League. Australia’s national selector George Bailey said it was an unfortunate accident and he would be sorely missed.

    Glenn Maxwell has been ruled out of the ODI series against England starting this week. He fractured his left leg on Saturday and will have to undergo a long rehabilitation period after that. The 34-year-old underwent surgery on Sunday after he injured himself while running in the backyard on Saturday evening.

    Glenn Maxwell had gone to a friend’s party, where both of them collapsed while running while celebrating. However, it has not been confirmed whether Maxwell’s friend got hurt or not. Australia’s chief selector George Bailey said, “Glenn was enjoying himself. It was an unfortunate accident and we feel sorry for Glenn as he has been in good form in his last few matches.”

Glenn is an important part of our white-ball team and we will continue to support him through his recovery and rehabilitation.     Sean Abbott will replace Maxwell

    Sean Abbott will supplant the all-rounder in the impending matches against Britain. The upcoming series against England will start in Adelaide on 17 November. Further matches will be held in Sydney and Melbourne, which will end on 22 November. Earlier, Australia’s wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Inglis was ruled out of the first T20 World Cup after cutting his hand while playing golf on the eve of the showpiece event.

    England star Jonny Bairstow was also not part of the tournament due to an ankle injury sustained when he slipped while playing golf.
