The Sydney Sixers are a men’s professional franchise cricket team from Australia that play in the Big Bash League (BBL), which is Australia’s domestic Twenty20 cricket competition. Along with the Sydney Thunder, the Sixers are the New South Wales Blues’ successors who competed in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash.
The Thunder play at Sydney Showground Stadium in the west, while the Sixers play at Sydney Cricket Ground in the southeastern part of the inner city. Moises Henriques, an all-rounder, led from the front during his team’s BBL|11 campaign, which culminated in a grand final appearance after two previous BBL championships. Henriques shared the 2019/20 Sheffield Shield Player of the Year award with Cricket Australia.
He has scored 3,775 runs and had a strike rate of 127 in 205 T20 matches. 108 wickets in Twenty20 have been taken with his fast-medium pace. In 2016, Moises represented Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, which is the most well-known T20 league in the world.
