In the final over, the young Arjun Tendulkar takes his first IPL wicket, securing the victory for SRH, who lose in Hyderabad by 14 runs.

On Wednesday, Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Young Arjun Tendulkar kept his cool while bowling the final over.

With two wickets on the board, SRH needed 24 runs in 12 balls. Cameron Green dumbfounded the nineteenth against Abdul Samad and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, yielding only four runs.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of MI, had run out of experienced bowlers. Arjun Tendulkar or Hrithik Shokeen were the options.

Tendulkar, who had bowled his first two overs with the new ball for 14 runs, went with Rohit. Tendulkar bowled to his field. Dangerman Samad abandoned the second ball to shift the game in support of MI.

Tendulkar ended the match by throwing Bhuvneshwar Kumar out with the final ball.
MI improved to six points with their third win in a row.

The hero of MI was Green, who scored his first half-century and won 1/29. When Green played in the T20 match that Australia played against India in September.

The crowds in Hyderabad witnessed how destructive Green can be. He then went on to score 52 off 21 balls at a strike rate of 247.62 as an opener.

Green was put under pressure on Wednesday as the IPL’s most expensive purchase for his team (R17.5 crore).

Batting at No 3 he needed to adjust to the sluggish pitch and anchor the innings. Green chose the stage to demonstrate MI’s significant investment in him.

After taking his time and evaluating the conditions, the 23-year-old all-rounder exploded for an unbeaten 64, propelling MI to 192/5.

Tilak Varma, a Hyderabad recruit for MI, demonstrated classic strokeplay in front of his home crowd with a stunning cameo of 37 runs (17 balls, 2×4, 4×6) in a partnership of 56 runs off 28 balls.

Overall, MI put on an intelligent batting show. The pitch was sluggish, and scoring runs required the batters to take risks. With starts of 41 in 4.4 overs, openers Rohit Sharma (28 – 18b) and Ishan Kishan (38 – 31b) contributed.

Shielding the aggregate, MI had an ideal beginning as the last match’s centurion Harry Stream fell in the second finish.

Jason Behrendorff squeezed the running stroke player with a short ball to draw the top edge which was gotten by Suryakumar Yadav at cover point.

Behrendorff dealt a second blow in the fourth over when he got an edge off Rahul Tripathi while Tendulkar was bowling tidily (2-0-14-0) from the other end to put pressure on the new ball.

SRH finished the powerplay overs at 42/2, and even captain Aiden Markram was unable to advance.
Green could do nothing out of sorts.

Markram, SRH’s captain and batting leader, was caught at deep midwicket in his first over, bringing them down to 71/3.

Abhishek Sharma was defeated by leg-spinner Piyush Chawla one run later.
For the majority of their innings, both teams were in the same situation. SRH were 106/4 after the 13th over, requiring 87 out of 42 balls.

MI were 104/3 after 14 overs. The way they ended their innings was the difference. MI scored 89 runs over their final six overs.

Heinrich Klaasen raised the expectation of the host group with two fours and two sixes off Chawla, taking 21 runs in the fourteenth over.

However, he holed out the last ball. The set Mayank Agarwal fell in the accompanying over to Riley Meredith for 48. However, their lower ranks kept pushing the envelope.

In contrast, MI had struggled to dislodge spinners Washington Sundar and Mayank Markande up until the sixth and seventh innings, respectively, and had shown remarkable acceleration.

Green and Tilak took advantage of Marco Jansen, the left-arm pacer, and scored 21 runs in an over to shift the momentum.

Jansen followed Green with a short ball to start the over, and despite being cramped, the tall batter cleared short third man for four. Green pulled Jansen for a fourth on the third ball. After that, Tilak hit the final two balls for sixes.

While the primary test for different hitters was to get runs off the spinners, it didn’t make any difference for Varma.

Young Arjun Tendulkar seals the victory with a first IPL wicket in the final over as SRH lose by 14 runs in Hyderabad.

In the sixteenth over, he played two dazzling shots for a four (over extra-cover) and a six (over lengthy leg) off leggie Markande to assist MI with gathering 14 runs.

Varma’s thump reached a conclusion on the third bundle of the sixteenth over, yet at 151/4 the circumstance was tailor-made for Green and Tim David.

Despite Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s two excellent overs, the two scored 41 runs from 21 balls and targeted left-armer T Natarajan for 20 runs in the 18th over and 14 runs in the 20th over.
