The defending champions CSK is starting their IPL campaign in the first match of IPL against Kolkata knight riders. CSK Players which can perform better than the previous year
1) Ruturaj Gaikwad
Ruturaj Gaikwad was the orange cap winner of last year. He had scored 635 runs with an average of 45.35 and a strike rate of 136.26 which includes one century (101*). He managed his good form in domestic cricket also. And if he has a form like the previous year in this season also he could be better this season.
2) Ravindra Jadeja
The new captain of CSK and allrounder Ravindra Jadeja is in top form. In the last couple of years, he improved his batting immensely. No one can forget his 37 runs in one over against the top wicket-taker of that season. Now, Jadeja has more responsibilities because he is the new skipper of CSK. So, we all hope that after becoming captain he give better performance.
3) Moeen Ali
English allrounder Moeen ali was one down batsman of CSK in last IPL. He bats at number 6-7 in England team but last year Captain cools to make him bat at number 3, he score a total of 357 runs and took 6 wickets in IPL 2021. After the arrival of Devon Conway, it’s interesting to see where he will bat. Hope he will perform better than last year for CSK.
4) MS Dhoni
As a player IPL 2021 was not a great season for Dhoni. He scored 114 runs with an average of 16.28 and a strike rate of 106.54. His highest score was 18*. The stats are poor but we all know what can he do, and he was not a captain of the team, so as a player he can do wonders. It’ll be interesting to watch Dhoni as a player. Most probably he will perform better than last year.
5) Robin Uthappa
Big match player Robin Uthappa played only 4 matches in IPL 2021. And scored 115 runs. He entered in the playing XI after Suresh Raina got injured. When he came in the team he played a very important inning of 63 runs in Qualifier 1 against Delhi Capitals and proved himself. This season he was again bought by CSK in the mega auction and most probably he will open the innings with Ruturaj. It seems like he will perform better than the previous year.
