Christian Eriksen Biography-Danish Footballer
Christian Eriksen is a Danish professional footballer who is popular for his play role as an attacking midfielder. Presently he is playing for Denmark National Club and Premier League club, Brentford. He is also known for his excellent skill in playing as a center midfielder or a mezze.
His favorite place is in the free role in the center to play as an attacking midfielder. He is a versatile player and can play in a 4-3-3 format.
Christian Eriksen Career
Eriksen started playing in the academy Middlefart G&BK in 2004. In 2008, he signed a two- and half-year contract with Ajax, an Amsterdam-based club. After playing successfully in Ajax, he got promoted to the first-team squad in 2010, January.
2010 to 2013 are known as the breakthrough years in his life. He scored his first Ajax league goal on 2010, 29th August. During this tenure, he also bagged the title, The Danish Talent of The Year. He also got named Ajax’s talent of the year at the end of the season as Ajax won its first Eredivisie title in the last seven years due to his excellent skill Eriksen.
He played in UEFA Championship League in 2011, and Ajax beat Dinamo Zagreb 2–0 in the group match. Ajax renewed the contract with Eriksen for the season 2012-2013. From 2013 to 2016, he signed a contract with Tottenham Hotspur for £11 million. Eriksen scored his first goal. He clipped a wonderful dipping shot over the goalkeeper and scored his first goal for Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham Hotspur renewed the contract with Eriksen for the long term from 2016 to 2020. Eriksen broke almost all records scored by previous Danish players in the premier league. During this season he scored his 33rd goal, which helped the club win over West Ham United 3-2.
Christian Eriksen signed a contract with Inter Milan for four and half years starting from 2020 for 10 million Euros per season. During Euro 2020, Eriksen suffered from Cardiac arrest and he was not permitted to play in the series due to the existence of an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator. He started individual training to set back to soccer.
Eriksen signed a contract with Brentford in January 2022 for the premier league. It is a six-month contract. He made his first appearance on Danish Team in 2010 in FIFA World Cup. He made 237 appearances to date and scored 52 goals with 132 wins and 59 losses.
Christian Eriksen Personal Life
Christian Eriksen, was born in Middlefart, Denmark on 14th February 1992. He resides with girlfriend Sabrina Kvist Jensen. The duo is blessed with two children, one son, and a daughter. Louis Eriksen is his younger sister who also plays Football, and she is the captain for KoldingQ in the Elitedivisionen.
