The T20 Challenge began in South Africa in 2003-2004 and was formerly known as the Standard Bank Pro20 Series until 2010-2011. After that, it went by a number of different names, including the RamSlam T20 Challenge and the MiWay T20 Challenge, and it is now known as the CSA T20 Challenge.
In the 2007/08 season, Zimbabwe was the seventh team in the league, which is normally played by six teams. However, there will be eight teams competing in the upcoming tournament: the Dolphins, Titans, North West, Lions, Warriors, Knights, Rocks, and Western Province. From October 17 to November 5, the 2022/23 CSA T20 Challenge will feature 31 T20 matches.
