David Warner, who was born on October 27, 1986, is a former Australian international cricketer. He was captain of the Australian national team in limited-overs cricket and vice-captain of the test team. His international century drought lasted 1043 days.

Warner is the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be selected for a national team in any format without prior experience playing first-class cricket. He bats opening on the left side. He is thought to be one of the best batters of today. He used to play domestic cricket for the Sydney Thunder before joining New South Wales.

He became the fourth player to win the Allan Border Medal multiple times and in consecutive years in January 2017. He scored a century in his 100th ODI on September 28, 2017, making him the first batsman for Australia and the eighth batsman of all time to do so.

He was suspended on the charge of bringing the game into disrepute in March 2018, following a preliminary investigation into ball tampering by the Australian team in the third match of their Test series against South Africa. Cricket Australia imposed a one-year ban on Warner from participating in any domestic or international cricket in Australia and from holding any leadership positions.

David Warner of Australia finally scored a century on a global scale. In the third one-day international on November 22 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), he scored 106 runs off 102 balls against England. It was his first century in 1043 days or almost three years.

After Jos Buttler won the toss, Australia, who have a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match series, batted first. Travis Head, his opening partner, also reached the 150 mark, establishing a 269-run opening partnership with Warner.

Eight fours and two sixes adorned Warner’s 19th century, scoring him a perfect score. Warner defeated Olly Stone in the 37th over to reach his century. When he made it to the century, he was thrilled.
After 1043 days, David Warner’s century streak in international cricket comes to an end. Warner has played 71 innings. His final century came against India in Mumbai in January 2020.

Warner has completed his century after 1043 days, 23 days more than Virat Kohli did during his recent hundred drought.

Today, Warner and Head also joined a special club run by Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly. They have achieved a 250-plus run stand twice in international cricket. Tendulkar and Ganguly also own two of these stands.

After 48 overs, Australia’s innings was 355/5. The score increased to 350 thanks to Mitchell Marsh’s efficient inning of 30 from 16 pitches. After losing their first two matches after winning the T20I World Cup earlier this month in Australia, England will be eager to win this match.

David Warner has now scored 208 runs in this series, including scores of 86 and 16 in the first two One-Day Internationals. He has scored 44 centuries in international cricket, 24 in Tests, 19 in One-Day Internationals, and one in Twenty20 Internationals.
