Every test record at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground : The iconic and known Mecca of cricket, Lord’s cricket Ground was established in 1814. Since then, many historic test matches have been played on the ground. From India to England, many teams across the globe have some unique memories with Lords. 

The ground is located at St John’s wood, London. It is part of one of the three Grounds that were established by former England cricketer Thomas Lord. 

England vs Australia in 1884 the second test between the two countries was the first international match played at the ground. Since then Lord cricket ground has hosted one for one 10 T20s and 63 ODIs. 

The venue hosted the last international match between India and England in 2021. The cricket ground is a home ground for the Middlesex County cricket team and Marylebone cricket club. 

Lord’s test records 

Most runs: Graham Gooch, the former England Captain has the aggregate of most test runs on the ground. He scored 2015 runs with an average of 53.02 in 22 matches. 

Highest team total: 729/6d by Australia against England in 1930 is a record highest total at Lord’s cricket ground. Bill Woodfull and Don Bradman scored 155 and 254 respectively, helping the Aussies to record a total. Australia won the match by 7 wickets and the series by 2-1. 

Highest individual score:  Graham Gooch has the highest 333 runs at Lord’s against India in 1990. Former England skipper smashed 43 boundaries and warned of the highest test win against the side with 247 runs. 

Highest Wicket taker: James Anderson is the highest Wicket taker at Lord’s with 110 wickets in 25 matches. He has an average of Wickets at 24th ball on Lord’s ground.
