Fabinho or Mr. Reliable as he is known was born on October 23, 1993, in Campinas, So Paulo, Brazil to a dark Brazilian mother, Rosangela Tavares (a former cleaner), and a white Brazilian father, Joo Roberto Tavares (a factory worker).
Fabinho was the youngest and most reserved of three siblings when he was born. Fabinho was spoilt rotten because he was the last of the Tavares children to be born.

Football Story

A successful tryout led to Fabinho being accepted onto the Fluminense local youth team’s squad, where he was able to further demonstrate his talents.
Fabinho met Marcelo, a member of the club’s youth senior team, at the youth club. Richarlison, his senior in the Brazilian team, was also there.
Fabinho was called up to the first squad on May 20th, 2012, after spending his whole youth career at the club.
