Federer Opens Up On His Final Match In The Most Emotional Interview: Tennis legend Roger Federer thanked Rafael Nadal for the game at the Laver Cup. Federer was proud that he had taken part in an emotional farewell to the game and thanked Djokovic and Nadal, saying a tearful goodbye to the world of tennis with them.
Even though he was exhausted from his wife being hospitalized for complications with her pregnancy and must have been drained on multiple levels, Federer tried his best to be present.
