    FIFA 2022 world cup: The Facts to Know. After the defeat of New Zealand by Costa Rica by 1-0 in the last qualifier match now the names of 32 teams for the FIFA Men’s 2022 world cup is locked. This is going to be the 22nd season of FIFA 2022 world cup with 32 teams to compete. The 2026 season of FIFA cup will be of 48 nations teams. 2018 world cup was won by Russia and is the 6th team of the season that qualified for 2022 world cup.

    There are in total 8 venues for the FIFA 2022 world cup and the host nation are Qatar.

    1. Lusail Iconic Stadium   – Capacity 86,250 seats – Will Host 10 matches
    2. Al Bayt Stadium – Capacity 62,000 seats – – Will Host 9 matches
    3. Al Rayyan Stadium – Capacity 44,740 seats – Will Host 7 matches
    4. Al WAK rah Stadium – Capacity 40,000 seats -– Will Host 7 matches
    5. Education City Stadium – Capacity 46,500 seats -– Will Host 8 matches
    6. Khalifa International Stadium- Capacity 40,000 seats -– Will Host 8 matches
    7. Ras Abu Abou Stadium – Capacity 40,000 seats -– Will Host 7 matches
    8. Al Thumama Stadium- Capacity 40,000 seats -– Will Host 8 matches

    Groups of FIFA World Cup 2022 & Schedule

    Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands.
    Group B: England, USA, Wales, Iran.
