    The 22nd FIFA World Cup is an international association football competition in which the men’s national teams of the FIFA member associations will compete. Following the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan, this is the second World Cup to be held entirely in the Arab world. From November 20 to December 18, 2022, it will take place in Qatar.

    In the year 2026, the tournament will feature 48 competing teams. The event will take place in five cities and feature eight venues for matches. The final tournament is here. France is the defending champion after defeating Croatia 4–2 in the FIFA World Cup final in 2018. Due to the summer’s extreme heat and humidity, this World Cup will be held in Qatar in November and December.

    The most-watched sporting event, the 2022 FIFA World Cup, will be broadcast live on television worldwide on Sunday, November 20. Qatar will take on Ecuador.     Sports18 and Sports18 HD will broadcast the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 to television viewers.     Spanish-speaking viewers will be able to watch all World Cup matches on NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service. All subscribers can play the first 12 games for free. The remaining 52 games will be available only to Premium members.
