The Frenchman objected to how much the club used him in the campaign video. He said in a statement (via Fabrizio Romano) that he wasn’t told about the video before it was published: I disagree with the video that was made public because I was never told about that. PSG is a great family and club, but it is NOT Kylian Saint-Germain.”
After Mbappe’s rant, a French journalist named Hadrien Grenier reported that PSG removed the video. Their #7 clearly resented it. When Mbappe’s contract at the Parc des Princes came to an end last year, it looked like he would move to Real Madrid in the summer.
