The competition will feature five teams and will begin with a match between Jaffna Kings and Galle Gladiators and last for 17 days until December 23. Jaffna Kings are the current champions. Participants include Sri Lankan T20 internationals Kusal Mendis and Thisara Perera, as well as internationals Carlos Brathwaite and Haider Ali, among others.
Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium, Hambantota’s Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, and Kandy’s Pallekele International Cricket Stadium will host the matches. Colombo will host the championship match. Before the start of the knockout rounds on December 21, each team will play twice in the competition’s league stage.
The teams in first and second place in the league stage will compete in qualifier one, with the winner progressing to the final. The loser will play the winner of the eliminator, which will be played between the third- and fourth-place teams in the league. The winner of that match will go on to the final.
