    The International Cricket Council (ICC) has introduced a penalty system for overs bowled late. According to the ICC Penalty rules, The bowling team will be given 60 seconds between overs and the batting side will have an extra 5 runs to the total if such a delay happens three times in a Innings.     A stop clock will be used to control the time elapsed between overs. If the bowling team is not ready to bowl the next over within 60 seconds of the completion of the previous over, a penalty of 5 runs will be imposed if this happens for the third time in the innings.

    ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice Said: ” The Changes to the Gender Eligibility process are founded in Science and Aligned with the core principles developed during the review.

    The review, which was led by the ICC Medical Advisory Committee chaired by Dr Peter Harcourt, is solely concerned with gender eligibility for international women’s cricket, while gender eligibility domestically is a matter for each individual member board, subject to local legislation.
