The three-match One-Day International (ODI) series between India and Australia will begin tomorrow afternoon at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. There is no ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup Super League for this series.

This series will be used by both teams to finalize their World Cup rosters. This year, India will host the Cricket World Cup in 2023, and both Australia and India have qualified for the massive competition.
Wankhede Arena will probably be one of the settings for the World Cup this year.

The stadium is known for hosting games with high scoring. Here are some details about this stadium’s pitch in advance of the first one-day international between India and Australia.

Statistics and records for ODI matches played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai As previously stated, the pitch at this location is a batting paradise.

In recent One-Day Internationals (ODIs) that Mumbai has hosted, visiting teams have prevailed significantly against Indian bowlers. Back in 2015, South Africa scored in excess of 400 runs in an ODI match against India on this ground.

Australian hitters Aaron Finch and David Warner likewise delighted in batting in an ODI on this ground in 2020. Australia defeated India by ten wickets in that match thanks to their unbeaten 258-run opening partnership.

Overseas batters have adored Mumbai’s bat-friendly surface. On this surface, both first- and second-innings teams have had equal success, indicating that the toss may not be crucial to the game tomorrow.

In Mumbai’s final one-day international, Australia defeated India by 10 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium. Shikhar Dhawan’s 74-run knock contributed to India’s 255-run victory. David Warner and Aaron Finch hit hundreds for Australia, which responded with a score of 258/0.

That day, Australia’s preferred bowler was Mitchell Starc. In his ten overs, he gave up 56 runs and took three wickets. A brief summary of that game is as follows:
