2022: IND vs. BAN: As Team India loses the ODI series, Rohit’s heroic effort is wasted Rohit Sharma:

    Rohit Sharma: 8.5/10

The captain of India had a mixed performance in Dhaka. He missed a chance at second slip and hurt himself, so he left the field and didn’t play anymore in the first innings.
Rohit batted first at No. 9 and tried his best, relying on a quick fifty. Unfortunately, it was insufficient.

    Shikhar Dhawan: 4/10

Dhawan continued to struggle in one-day internationals after being bowled out by Mustafizur Rahman with a brutal delivery. The southpaw needs to get his act together right away, even though it was a slightly unfortunate dismissal. In the first inning, he caught two balls.

    Virat Kohli: 2/10

Kohli inside-edged a rash pull on his stumps to start the batting. The No. 3 batter currently lacks confidence at the plate and has a poor ODI record in 2022.

    Shreyas Iyer: 8.5/10

After entering the game in a difficult circumstance, Shreyas pitched yet other determined innings. In Dhaka, he showed off his game awareness and skill against spin. Despite the fact that India appeared to be regaining control of the chase when Shreyas was dropped, he has become one of the team’s most important ODI batters.

    Rahul, KL: 3/10

Rahul had a tough game, with the exception of the stunning catch that got rid of Mahmudullah. He failed miserably as captain when India’s bowling plans were virtually nonexistent, and he only managed 14 runs off 28 in the chase. The stand-in skipper was trapped lbw after completely missing a risky paddle.

    Axar Patel: 8/10

Axar came into the attack very late, but despite Chahar’s injury, he was able to send down seven overs. With 40 runs conceded, he was not as effective as the other spinners. However, the all-rounder made an impact with the bat, scoring his second ODI fifty and partnering with Shreyas to take on the spinners in excellent fashion.

    Washington Sundar: 8/10

Sundar broke the Bangladesh middle order with his three-wicket haul, making him arguably the best Indian bowler. He procured an advancement to No. 4 due to Rohit’s injury but was lightly penalized at the conclusion of the first powerplay. Nevertheless, the young all-rounder put on a strong performance.

    Shardul Thakur: 6/10

Until his final few overs, when Bangladesh batters were able to take him for a few runs, Thakur bowled a tight spell. In his 23-ball innings, he was unable to make a contribution with the bat.

    Deepak Chahar: 3/10

Chahar only bowled three overs before suffering another muscle injury to his hamstring that kept him out of Bangladesh’s innings. He tried to throw his bat around, but Ebadot got rid of him with 11 out of 18.

    Mohammed Siraj: 5.5/10

Siraj, who gave up 73 runs in 10 overs, was India’s most expensive bowler. That doesn’t reflect how well he bowled, however, as he excused the Tigers’ openers and was compromising all through his spell. The better for him is silence regarding his batting.

    Umran Malik: 8/10

Malik’s raw pace and improved consistency made him a welcome change of pace for the Indian bowling attack against Bangladesh. Despite receiving some criticism in his final two overs, his two wickets were thrilling to watch.
