The big news is coming out about the start of the Indian Premier League 2022. This great festival of cricket is going to start on 26th March.

The Indian Cricket Board can announce this news any time. According to the information, after meeting with the broadcaster today on 24th February.

IPL Governing Council has decided to start the tournament on 26th March Saturday, 10 teams are going to participate.

Indian Premier League 2022 is going to play in Maharashtra

From this year, instead of 8 in the tournament, 10 teams are going to participate in the title battle.

Two teams named Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are going to be involved in the 15th season of IPL.

15 matches of IPL 2022 will be organized at Maharashtra Cricket Association Cricket Stadium in Pune.

At the same time, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad can be selected for the playoff matches.

The decision of all these events is going for the ease of the bio bubble created to protect against corona.

Indian Cricket Board confirms that this season of IPL is going to play in Mumbai and Pune

Due to Corona, all 70 matches of the league matches start at Wankhede Stadium, Brabon Stadium in Mumbai, and 55 matches of league start in DY Patil Cricket Stadium.

Cricket Fans are allowed in Indian Premier League 2022

All 10 teams took part in the IPL 2022 auction, in which 204 players were bought at a cost of Rs 552 crore. Earlier, the current 8 teams had retained 27 players. At the same time, 2 new teams had selected 3-3 players in the draft before the auction.

The biggest question for the fans of IPL was whether the spectators would be allowed to reach the ground in IPL 2022.

IPL President Brijesh Patel has confirmed and revealed that the tournament IPL 2022 will be held on empty grounds like the last two seasons.

Will not be played. But a limit will be fixed on the presence of spectators in the stadium, whose decision will be taken after the cognizance of the state government. Brijesh Patel says

“IPL will start from March 26, full schedule will come soon. This time spectators will be present in the stadium, but according to the policy of the Government of Maharashtra. Whether it will be 25 or 50 percent of the stadium’s capacity will be decided by the government’s directive.
