    August 2021: In a Leeds Test match, India scored 78 runs against England. Rohit Sharma scored the most runs (19 from 105 balls) in their opening innings. 

    December 2020: In a Test match against Australia in the city of Adelaide, India made their lowest-ever total of 36 runs. India’s top scorer under Virat Kohli’s captaincy was Hanuma Vihari, who got eight runs from 22 balls, and Mayank Agarwal, who scored nine runs off 40 balls. 

    April 2008: Under Anil Kumble’s leadership, India defeated South Africa by 76 runs in an Ahmedabad Test match. The team’s top scorer was Irfan Pathan, who was undefeated at 21 off 17 balls.

    Some of more worst test matches played By the Indian team

    December 1996: This year, the Indian cricket team hit 66 runs while playing the second inning against South Africa in Durban. Under Little Master captaincy Rahul Dravid scored 27 off 73.

    November 1987: In a Delhi Test match against the West Indies, India scored 75 runs. Under the captaincy of Dilip Vengsarkar, Arun Lal scored the most runs (20 off 44 balls).

    June 1974: In a Test match at Lord’s, Team India scored 42 runs, their second-lowest total, against England. In the year 1974, Indian cricketer Eknath Solkar, who was captained by Ajit Wadekar, scored 18 runs off 17 balls.

    1952: India’s bottom score of 58 runs as opposed to England in Manchester was comparable. Vijay Hazare captained the team, and Vijay Manjrekar scored the most runs in their opening innings with 22 off 55 balls.

    February 1948: In their second innings against Australia, India scored 67 runs. Under Lala Amarnath’s leadership.

    November 1947: Under the leadership of Lala Amarnath, India accumulated 58 runs in a Test match against Australia at Brisbane. With 22 runs off 40 balls, the captain himself was the highest scorer.
