    There was a total of 8 teams in IPL till 2021 the season but from this year 2 more teams (Lucknow Super Giants and Gujrat Titans) have been added to IPL. Check IPL 2022 Ranking And Rating Of The Teams On The Basis of Their History Of All 10 Teams.

    Due to the joining of these two teams for the first time, their history and records do not exist. But in the mega auction before the start of IPL 2022, the LSG franchise did a great job and prepared a very good squad for their franchise.
    If we talk about the GT, then their auction was very average, and in the auction also, out of the special player they bought, Jasen Roy refused to play IPL this year.

    Therefore, looking at the squad on paper of both the teams, LSG can be placed before GT in ranking and rating.

    #10 Gujarat Titans

    Gujarat Titans is a new franchise cricket team that comes from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The franchise is owned by CVC Capital Partners. Gujarat Titans will start their first season under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. They had picked Rashid Khan, Shubhman Gill, and captain Pandya before the auction.

    • No titles because this will be the first season for them.
    • No Finals also because of no history

    #09 Lucknow Super Joints

    As same with the GT, Lucknow Super Giants are also the new part of IPL 2022. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have a team based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. KL Rahul will captain the side this year and Andy Flower will be the coach.

    • No titles because this will be the first season for them.
    • No Finals also because of no history.

    #08 Punjab Kings 5/10

    Punjab kings are one of the three teams which have never won the title. The PBKS had played in the Champions League Twenty20 once, in 2014 as the Kings XI Punjab, and finished as semi-finalists. The franchise name to Punjab Kings in February 2021.

    • One-time runner of the year 2014.
    • Total Two times reached the playoff.

    #07 Delhi Capitals 6/10

    DC also comes on the list of no title-winning teams. The GMR Group and the JSW Group are the joint owners of the team. The Capitals qualified in their first IPL final in 2020

    • Qualified for playoffs two times including 2020.

    #06 Royal Challengers Banglore 6.5/10

    One of the most loving and following franchises in the IPL. But never won the IPL in any of the seasons of the tournament but finished runners-up on three occasions between 2009 and 2016. The team has the records of both the highest 263/5 and the lowest total of 49 in IPL history.

    • Three-time runners-up.
    • RCB qualified 5 times for the playoffs till now.

    #05 Rajasthan Royals 7/10

    The team won the first season of the IPL under the captaincy of Shane Warne, despite being written off as a title contender by the media and fans. They were also the runners-up of the 2013 Champions League Twenty20.

    • Won one Title (the year 2008)

    #04 Sunrisers Hydrabad 7.5/10

    . The SRH won their first and only IPL title in the 2016 season, defeating the RCB by 8 runs in the final. The team has gone through the play-off stage of the tournament in many seasons since 2016. In 2018, the team reached the finals but lost to Chennai Super Kings. The team is considered one of the best bowling sides, often admired for its ability to defend low totals.

    #03 Kolkata knight Riders 8/10

    Very popular franchise especially due to its association with celebrity owners. KKR had played their 1st IPL playoffs in 2011. They became the league champions in 2012, by defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final. They repeated the title in 2014 by defeating Kings XI Punjab in the finals.

    #02 Chennai Super Kings 9/10

    CSK has the highest win percentage of matches among all teams in the IPL (64.83%) till 2021. They hold the records for most playoffs (eleven) and the Final (nine) playing a team of the IPL.

    • Won 4 titles (in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021)

    #01 Mumbai Indians 9.5/10

    The MI became the first franchise to gain more than the $100 million brand value among the IPL franchises in 2017. Mumbai Indians are the most successful franchise in the history of IPL. MI has 5 IPL titles and all have been won under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.

    • Won 5 titles (in 2013, 2015 2017, 2019, 2020)
