In January and February, Sri Lanka will host Afghanistan for three Twenty20 Internationals, three One-Day Internationals, and a one-day Test. The list of Test ODIs and T20Is of Sri Lanka cricket team 2024 is given below.
Afghanistan comes into the series with considerable confidence after defeating Sri Lanka in the league game for the 2023 ODI World Cup.
In February-March 2024, Sri Lanka will visit Bangladesh for two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 matches.
Sri Lanka will also compete in the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be contested from June 4 to 30 in the United States and the West Indies.
Following the T20 World Cup, Sri Lanka will take on India in July for three ODIs and three T20s. They will travel to England in August and September 2024 to play three Test matches.
Sri Lanka will host New Zealand and the West Indies between September and November after returning home. The New Zealand squad will play two Tests in September, three ODIs, and three T20s in November.
Meanwhile, in October, Sri Lanka will play three ODIs and three T20Is against the West Indies.
The remaining two assignments for the Asian squad this year will be abroad travels. In November and December 2024, they will play two Tests in South Africa.
Following that, the Sri Lankan side will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty-Twenty-Ones (T20s) in New Zealand from December 2024 to January 2025.
