The Indian football team captain and the world-class boxer backed a sports-friendly India.

After an exclusive report compiled by a leading sports measurement and analytics firm and a well-known sports brand revealed that children and adults in the country lack the motivation to participate in sports and physical activities, internationally renowned athletes MC Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri urged the nation to embrace sports and engage in regular physical activity, aiming for a sports-friendly and physically fit India.

The unique report revealed that respondents lacked the drive to make sports and fitness a lifestyle choice due to a lack of time. Both adults and children referred to this as the essential boundary for participating in sports and other proactive activities. Additional obstacles included high costs and a lack of facilities.

MC Mary Kom, one of the greatest fighters in history, spoke about the report, which found that adults in India exercise for 101 minutes per week and children in India exercise for 86 minutes per week.

It doesn’t matter how old you are—it’s good for your health to get active and participate in sports and work. In fact, as you get older, it encourages intellectual prowess. Sports should be part of our daily routine given our busy lives. To keep fit, I persuade and encourage every Indian to exercise or play at least one sport every day. I will work closely with PUMA on this new campaign and support the sport in any way I can.

Likewise, the review found an immediate connection between chronic weakness all in all and an indifference toward games. Adults who participate in sports are 21% more likely than adults as a whole to experience more specific emotions.

Sunil Chhetri, a well-known football player, also discussed the current state of India’s cooperation in sports and other proactive activities and the reasons why games should be valued equally to academics.

    India must adopt sports as a lifestyle, say Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri#MaryKom #sunilchhetri #SportsNews #lifestyle #IndianSportsHonours #Assam @himantabiswa @ianuragthakur @MangteC @SunilChhetriFC @AssamOlympic @KirenRijiju @PTUshaOfficial @AssamAwaz

“We will begin to see a change the moment we treat mathematics, science, geography, and sports equally in terms of importance. How might weekly physical therapy improve athletes’ performance? Sports must be approached as a legitimate topic. It builds character, improves your situation as a whole, gives you a career choice, and strengthens your character. Play a game. to compete instead of winning or getting healthier. Keep up the game. Chhetri claims that it will provide you with models that no other book could ever provide.

4280 adults between the ages of 18 and 65 were surveyed in the PUMA-Nielsen sports survey, which was carried out in 16 cities and included parents of children aged 6 to 18. This report also looks at the demographics of children who regularly participate in sports or other physical activities. It demonstrates that children in the East of India participate for significantly more time (125 minutes) than children in the South, North, and West of the country (80 minutes, respectively).

“As a nation, we have witnessed a fundamental change in the adoption of sports culture with far more running communities, gyms, and people taking up different sports,” stated Abhishek Ganguly, Managing Director of PUMA India and Southeast Asia. In any case, we have far to go before we can reveal what lies under. According to the evaluation, there is still a lot of room for improvement. The study demonstrates the growing need to raise concerns and encourage more adults and children to play sports, as well as the numerous ways that sports improve life. There is a direct correlation between children’s superior academic performance and local prosperity and their interest in sports. A nation’s development depends on a strong sports culture that encourages individual excellence.
