Mohammad Rizwan – All You Need To Know About The Pakistani Cricketer

All You Need To Know About The Pakistani Cricketer Mohammad Rizwan: Mohammad Rizwan is an international cricketer from Pakistan. He has been a member of Pakistan’s national cricket team since 2015. He is the only player in the world to score more than 2,000 runs in T20Is in a single calendar year. He bats and keeps wickets with his right hand, and he has hit hundreds in all three types of international games—Tests, One-Day Internationals, and Twenty20 Internationals. In Test cricket, he is the second-in-command of the Pakistan team. In 2021, he was chosen as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year. He was also named Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year by the ICC in 2021. He also won the Pakistan Super League 2021 with the Multan Sultans. He is the first player in Twenty20 to score 2,000 runs in a year.

He played for Lahore Qalandars from 2016 to 2017, for Karachi Kings from 2018 to 2020, and is now the captain of Pakistan Super League team Multan Sultans. In domestic cricket, he is the captain of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

    Domestic career

In the final of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 2014–15, Rizwan scored 224 runs for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited. This gave Sui Northern a 301-run lead after the first inning and their second title. In December 2014, he was the wicketkeeper for Pakistan A in the five short-form games against Kenya.

In April 2018, Punjab named him the team’s vice-captain for the 2018 Pakistan Cup. On May 1, 2018, against Federal Areas, he hit 140 off 123 balls, which was his best score in List A. He was named captain of the Federal Areas team for the 2019 Pakistan Cup in March.

Rizwan was named Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s captain for the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament in September 2019. In October 2019, he was named the best player of the 2019–20 National T20 Cup because he had 215 runs and six wickets.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa kept him on the team as both a player and the captain for the 2020–21 season. Before PSL 6, Multan Sultans announced in February 2021 that Rizwan would be their new captain, taking the place of Shan Masood. He helped Multan Sultans win their first PSL title in June 2021 and was named Wicket-Keeper of the Tournament.

He was signed by Sussex in December 2021 to play in the County Championship and Twenty20 in 2022.

    International career

Rizwan Ahmed, a wicketkeeper who also bats for Pakistan, played his first Test match on November 25, 2016, against New Zealand. In his first Test, he was out without making a single run. In August 2018, he was one of 33 players to whom the Pakistan Cricket Board gave a central contract. In the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, he led Pakistan’s team as captain. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was put on a 29-person squad for Pakistan’s tour of England in June 2020.

In February 2021, Rizwan Ahmed got the player of the series award for Pakistan’s series against South Africa. He did this by making 115 runs without getting out. He also became the first wicketkeeper to score a hundred in T20I cricket for Pakistan. As a result, he was put on Pakistan’s team for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in September 2021. In December 2021, he became the first player to score 2,000 runs in Twenty20 cricket in a single year.
