    NFL top 5 QBS

Who is the greatest quarterback in history? Although not new, this query is frequently asked following each NFL season. The top 1, top 2, or top 3 spots may have been mentioned by others. The rest, what about it, and who is the best quarterback of all time? At that point, the question gets more difficult to answer and necessitates further information. Scott Fujita will accurately rank the top quarterbacks of all time based on the most recent NFL statistics. Let’s get started with the article below!

    1. TOM BRADY

Given that Brady only placed 199th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft, no one had previously projected that he would have such a successful career. He guided the NFL team to six world championships and 17 divisional victories over his 18 years with the New England Patriots. While playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady, a nine-time Pro Bowler, guided the NFL team to victory in the Super Bowl. He received five MVP awards at the Super Bowl. Brady outperforms every other quarterback in NFL history to win the championship. He has participated in 264 games during the course of his career. With 79,204 passing touchdowns, he ranks second. The mark of 581 passing touchdowns has also never been broken.

    2. JOE MONTANA

Montana is rated second overall among the top 10 quarterbacks in NFL history. Prior to Tom Brady “usurping” Joe Montana’s position as the best quarterback in NFL history, Throughout his playing career, Joe Montana won a number of Super Bowls. He also held the record for this accomplishment with 122 completions without an interception in only four games. In three Super Bowl MVP votes, only Tom Brady “beat” him. He won the NFL MVP award twice, in 1989 and 1990, and had a wonderful career. He received eight Pro Bowl nominations and five All-Pro nominations. The boldness and calm of Montana are examples. He consistently maintains a steely spirit and prevails in the most trying circumstances. Many NFL players continue to strive for the monument that Joe Montana’s career of accomplishments has left behind. After spending the previous two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, the playoff quarterback made the decision to retire in 1994. The Pro Football Hall of Fame “inducted” him in 2000.

    3. OTTO GRAHAM

One of the top five quarterbacks to ever compete in a Super Bowl is Otto. Throughout his playing career, he was a member of the Cleveland Browns, with whom he won three NFL championships and four AFC crowns. He received two Purple MVP medals and three NFL MVP awards. Five Pro Bowl nods and seven All-Pro nods were given to Otto Graham. Throughout the Super Bowl era, Otto Graham was the most proficient passer. Up until his retirement in 1994, Montana’s 86.6 passing percentage held the record for the best QB passing percentage. In NFL history, Graham had the highest passing yards per attempt (9.0). During the course of his 10-year career, he scored 44 touchdowns on the ground. In 1965, Otto was formally “inducted” into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

    4. DREW BREES

In his five years with the San Diego Chargers, Drew Brees enjoyed a successful career. He later began his era by formally signing with the New Orleans Saints. The New Orleans Saints’ lone XLIV Super Bowl victory came in 2009 under Brees’ leadership. He was selected MVP for that season. In the history of the NFL, he has thrown for the most yards (80.358) and completions (7,142). He was the second-most prolific thrower of touchdowns with 571. He averaged 280 throwing yards per game, completed 67.7% of his passes overall, and scored 54 passing touchdowns. Furthermore, Drew Brees is the quarterback that runs the fastest. He reached the milestones of 60,000 and 70,000 passing yards the quickest. He is also fourth all-time in victories with 172 during regular seasons.

    5. ROGER STAUBACH

Roger Staubach played quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys from 1969 until 1979. Roger Staubach created the NFL Draft in 1964. He didn’t truly start his NFL career until 1969 after completing his military service. He played in four Super Bowls, winning two of them. Roger Staubach was the NFL’s best passer four times: in 1971, 1973, 1978, and 1979. He was the first quarterback among four to win both the Heisman Trophy and Super Bowl MVP.
