    “Nice to be back”: Kane Williamson’s begins batting practise in preparation for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

    Kane Williamson’s, the captain of New Zealand’s white-ball squad, is currently out with a knee injury he got while competing for Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) competition in April of this year.

    Williamson had right knee surgery and was declared out for the rest of the season. The veteran batsman has begun batting practise, much to the pleasure of the supporters. As he strives to be healthy in time for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

    On Tuesday, August 1, the 32-year-old released a little film on his Instagram account to offer followers a taste of his most recent online session. He wrote in the post’s caption:

    It’s nice to be back in the nets, holding the bat, for a few throws.

    Williamson was observed engaging in some throwdowns in the hoop after a protracted injury layoff.

    The New Zealand team for the T20I series against the UAE and England does not include Kane Williamson‘s

    The next game for the New Zealand team will be a three-match T20I series against the UAE beginning on August 17. All three contests are anticipated to take place in Dubai.

    The Blackcaps will tour England for eight white-ball games after the aforementioned series. Four T20I matches and as many ODIs will pit the two teams against one another.

    The series’ opening T20I will take place at Chester-le-Street’s Riverside Ground on August 30. Additionally, the opening ODI will take place on September 8 at Cardiff’s Sophia Gardens.

    The New Zealand teams for their T20I games against the UAE and England have been announced. In Kane Williamson’s absence, senior pacer Tim Southee will serve as the team’s captain.

    New Zealand Twenty20 teams

    Adi Ashok, Chad Bowes, Mark Chapman, Dane Cleaver, Lockie Ferguson, Dean Foxcroft, Kyle Jamieson, Cole McConchie, Jimmy Neesham, Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner, Tim Seifert, Henry Shipley. And Will Young are the players for the UAE series. Tim Southee is the captain.

    Tim Southee (captain), Finn Allen, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Kyle Jamieson, Adam Milne, Jimmy Neesham, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner, Tim Seifert, and Ish Sodhi are the England series’ other players.
