    Pondicherry T20 2024 Points Table: Updated standings following Match 30. On Tuesday, January 16, the Cricket Association Puducherry Siechem Ground in Puducherry hosted the final two league matches of the Pondicherry T20 2024.

    ThePondicherry West XI played Pondicherry South XI in the 29th round of the competition, while Mahe XI faced Yanam XI in the 30th match of the Pondicherry T20 2024.

    Pondicherry West XI defeated Pondicherry South XI by nine wickets in the first game of the day, securing their spot in the semifinals.

    Despite a 76-run victory against Mahe XI, Yanam XI was unable to advance to the last four.

    Pondicherry West XI moved to third position in the points table and advanced to the final four with 10 points from ten matches, with four victories, four defeats, and two draws.

    Meanwhile, Pondicherry South XI finished second despite losing the game, with ten points from ten matches. Pondicherry South XI finished with four victories, four loses, and two no-results.

    However, Pondicherry South XI had a net run rate of +0.648, while Pondicherry West XI had +0.586.

    Pondicherry North XI finished fourth, with 10 points in ten matches and a net run rate of +0.082, advancing to the semifinals.

    Karaikal XI finished first in the points table with 15 points from 10 matches, comprising six victories, one defeat, and three no results.

    Yanam XI finished fifth with nine points from 10 matches. They missed qualifying by a hair, with four wins, five defeats, and one no-result.

    Mahe XI were the first team to be ousted from the competition, finishing last in the league standings with six points from 10 matches. They had two victories, six losses, and two draws on their record.

    Logesh P’s undefeated half-century propels Pondicherry West XI into the playoffs

    Pondicherry West XI won the toss and decided to bowl first. Their bowlers performed an excellent job, holding Pondicherry South XI to a disappointing score of 122/9 in 20 overs.

    Tharun J scored the most runs for Pondicherry South XI, with 36. Meanwhile, Harshith S took three wickets for Pondicherry West XI.

    Logesh P opened the batting and scored an undefeated half-century, making the chase simple. He hit 58 runs off 41 deliveries, helping Pondicherry West XI finish the chase in 14.3 overs with nine wickets in hand.

    In the second match, Yanam XI won the toss and batted first. After losing opener Kaladi Nagur Babu in the game’s second over, Shiva Satish Varma batted at number three.

    He scored an unbroken 108 runs off 64 deliveries, including 13 boundaries and five maximums. Yanam XI scored an impressive 185/2 in 20 overs thanks to his hit.

    Chasing the score, Mahe XI were never in the game, being bowled out for 109 in 17.4 overs. Yanam XI’s seven different bowlers took one wicket apiece, with P Adhi Narayana taking two.
