Roger Binny Hoists National Flag With Captains In Maharaja T20 Trophy And Celebrated India’s 75th Independence Day. Roger Binny is the president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association. This association is hosting the Maharaja Trophy T20. the association was joined by KSCA Treasurer Vinay Mruthyunjaya and the captains of the other six teams of the Maharaja Trophy.
Manish Pandey is the captain of Gulbarga Mystics. Mayank Agarwal holds the captaincy of Bengaluru Blasters. Karun Nair leads Mysuru Warriors. K Gowtham fills in as the captain of Shivamogga Strikers. Samarth R is the captain of Mangalore United. Navneet Sisodia leads Hubli Tigers. D’EX was all present during the Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony.
Binny was a part of the Indian team that won the One Day International World Cup in 1983. He is well known to have been an integral part of the Indian Cricket team.
On India’s Independence Day, Mangalore United took on Bengaluru Blasters at 3 pm. The Gulbarga Mystics played against Hubli Tigers in the 7 pm game, both in Mysore. These were the final two games in Mysore before the tournament shifted to Bangalore.
Maharaja Trophy T20 – the marquee Twenty20 cricket tournament is organized in the memory of the HRH late Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar. Wadiyar was the former President of KSCA and the Maharaja of Mysore.
The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 commenced on the 7th of August in Mysore. The first leg of the matches was being held at the Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Ground in Mysore. A total of 18 matches are to be held in Mysore. 16 matches including the final will be held in Bengaluru at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The Shriram Group is the title sponsor of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20. They are the title sponsors for a period of 3 years, commencing this season.
