IND vs WI T20: Indian captain Rohit Sharma has asked the players to focus on playing for India before the T20 series against West Indies.
He was asked the question regarding the IPL auction in the press conference regarding the T20 series against West Indies.
On this, he said that the players have been told that for the time being, forget the league and focus on playing for Team India.
Rohit Sharma give tips to player to concentrate on Series
Rohit said that the players have been acknowledging their roles. Now it depends on players how they adjust to the situation and plays this match as a bowler or batsmen on the field.
Reporters also put questions against Rohit Sharma about players in Team India would be fed according to the IPL role, to which the captain said,
“We are looking at where and how they will bat for Team India? We will focus on this, these people play different roles for their franchises. What we need from these players is that IPL will happen later, later we will take care of it.”
Rohit Sharma wants from team to focus on the Series against West Indies
Rohit Sharma said about the IPL auction,
“It can be understood that the feelings of the players are attached to the IPL auction. They must be choosing which team they will play with. But now this is the past. We had a team meeting and told everyone in it that the auction is over So now put all your energy into playing for team India.
Rohit Sharma’s Advice to Players of Team India
Rohit was also asked a question about IPL Auction (IPL 2022 Mega Auction) in the press conference regarding the T20 series.
On this, he said,
the entire focus of the Indian team is on the T20 series and the players have also been asked to pay attention to the same
Rohit said that after IPL Auction there is a team meeting, where he makes gives clear instructions that they should focus on playing for the country.
