Reliance is a member of the MI Cape Town Squad. Jio, the owner of the IPL T20 Mumbai Indias, named their SA20 League franchise MI Cape Town. The athletes will join the One Family squad and will wear the famous blue and gold colours associated with the MI club.
According to league regulations, each of the six franchises will be able to pre-sign five players – three overseas, one South African international player, and one uncapped South African player – prior to the auction, with MI Cape Town being the first to do so.
