Salman Butt said: India is well ahead of Pakistan in red-ball cricket

Salman Butt feels that comparing Pakistan to India in Test cricket is unfair, given India’s great record in the game’s longest format. According to Salman Butt, India is well ahead of Pakistan in red-ball cricket.

Despite losing the Boxing Day Test against South Africa, India has a terrific home record, according to Butt. According to the former player, Pakistan has failed to dominate even on its own turf.

According to Salman Butt, India has always suffered in South Africa. They had success in Australia but were uneasy in South Africa. In contrast, Pakistan cannot be compared to India. They win at least all of their home Tests, whilst we lose even at home.

There is no similarity. Despite winning two series in Australia, Pakistan has never won a series there. India has also done exceptionally well in England.

Pakistan has struggled in the current three-match Test series against Australia in Australia. Shan Masood guided them to a 0-2 defeat following back-to-back losses.

South Africa’s choice to field an inexperienced side for the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand irritated Salman Butt. The senior players were kept off of the team since the series clashed with this year’s SA20.

Butt suggested that Cricket South Africa (CSA) take note of the issue and work to resolve it. He noted that South Africa had chosen an inexperienced squad for the Test series, with the captain making his debut. This group was designed exclusively to participate in T20 leagues with its elite players.

I’m not sure if they’ll consider it or continue to provide NOCs to gamers. All of the world’s finest cricketers recognize that this is entirely false. If the current tendency continues, there will be no difference between cricket and baseball.

South African selectors have picked uncapped player Neil Brand as captain for the forthcoming New Zealand Test series, which begins on February 4.
