After starting the day at 276/7, Punjab were eventually bowled out for a score of 286 thanks in large part to Gaja’s impressive performance with the ball. In their second innings, Punjab quickly lost wickets, but to to Naman Dhir’s unbeaten 71, they were able to reach 156/6 at the Stumps and extend their advantage to 345.

Then, during the Vidarbha team’s reply, he took the first five wickets, bringing their score down to 56/5. Vidarbha finished the day with 145/7, which is still 164 runs behind the target.
