Shauna Coxsey was the first female Sports climber from Britain. She had participated in Tokyo Olympics 2021 and then announced her retirement from Climbing Sports. Shauna was a Bouldering type climber. Shauna got the highest grade of 8B+ (V14) in her career. The 29-year-old had finished 10th at the Tokyo Olympics. Shauna, a two-time bronze medalist at the World Championships, started sports climbing at the age of just three.
“If I don’t climb for a week or two, then my body gets stiff and the whole body feels pain,” she said. When I do climbing, there is a whole-body stretch, due to which I stay physically and mentally fit. The British athlete is nearing the delivery of her first child but has continued to climb as a hobby.
