    Smriti Mandhana’s, an Indian women’s cricketer, is celebrating her birthday today. The Indian opener with the left hand was born on July 18, 1996, in Mumbai. One of the most successful Indian women’s cricket players is Smriti.

    Mandhana has amassed 325 runs in four Test matches, including a century and two half-centuries. The batsman, who bats left-handed, has scored 2,854 runs in 115 innings of T20I cricket but 3,084 runs overall in 78 ODIs.

    Mandhana began this year with a massive contract with the Royal Challengers Bangalore for 3.4 crore. She even served as RCB’s captain during their disastrous inaugural Women’s Premier League season, which saw them record just two victories.

    Smriti Mandhana’s will be India’s vice – captain in women’s cricket event at Asian Games

    At the Asian Games later this year in China, the Indian women’s cricket team will make its debut. The competition, which will take place in September, features a talented team that BCCI has picked. Mandhana will serve as Harmanpreet Kaur’s assistant as she leads the team. Here is the entire team:

    Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (wk), Amanjot Kaur, Devika Vaidya, Anjali Sarvani, Titas Sadhu, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Minnu Mani, Kanika Ahuja, Uma Chetry (wk), and Anusha Bareddy are the other players in the lineup.

    Watching the Indian women’s squad compete in the mega-event’s cricket competition would be thrilling. The Indian athletes have a wealth of experience competing in major competitions.

    Indian adversaries Gold medals were earned by Pakistan in 2010 and 2014. India’s goal this year is to overcome the Women in Green and win the Asian Games gold medal.
