After the successful first three seasons of the Tennis Premier League, India’s Premier tennis tournament is returning for its fourth season, starting on December 7th, 2022. Sony Sports Network will be the broadcaster this time around.

Tennis fans in India will be granted access to exclusive live events featuring international tennis stars on SONY TEN 2 channels and an OTT platform, SonyLIV.

Sony will be playing a crucial role when it comes to bringing tennis action from the Balewadi Stadium in Pune, India to its viewers. The Tennis Premier League is becoming like India’s version of the Indian Premier League in tennis. The format of the TPL makes it captivating to watch, just like soccer or cricket.

The upcoming season of Tennis Premier League will be the most exciting edition yet as Swiss tennis professional, Matthew Ebden has been signed up for 2019. This year’s Tournament will include some of Esports’ top athletes with players Malek Jaziri, who represented Tunisia at the Olympics; Anastasia Gasanova who has won 6 Singles titles and ITF Women’s circuit titles; Ramkumar ranked first in singles and second in doubles. Ankita Raina won first in women’s singles

Rajesh Kaul, Revenue Officer and head of Sports Business of Sony Pictures Network India, is introducing the TPL with excited anticipation. TPL will be a revolution in Indian sports, providing an exciting new format that makes possible quick games while making every match result meaningful. The network will also air all major sporting events in India and do so without bias. This long-time supporter of the sport is confident that their network will be able to contribute to a rising interest in sports among Indians across the country.

India’s tennis icon and co-owner of the Mumbai Leon Army, Leander Paes is emotional about Sony Pictures Sports Network to show official coverage on their network as an international connection.

Tennis Premier League will attract new fans due to Sony Sports Network and viewership will increase significantly because of the readily accessible TV channels. The partnership with Sony Sports Network will allow more people from India to enjoy the sport of Tennis and appreciate their success.
