South Africa will take on India in a three-match T20I and ODI series to be played in India from September 28 with the main T20I. The series will be played after India’s consecutive T20I series against Australia.
After India’s initial exit from the Asia Cup, this series has turned into a significant one for their setup for the T20 World Cup to be played in Australia in the not-too-distant future. India has made it out of the association stage of the T20 World Cup 2021 and currently has a modest batch of matches to work out their ideal playing mix and kill all the cracks in their armory.
