Team India’s lineup for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia has been selected by Sunil Gavaskar, a former captain of India.

During the current edition of the ICC World Test Championship. Wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat has struggled to remain India’s primary option behind the stumps despite being named in place of the injured Rishabh Pant.

Ishan Kishan was added to Team India’s star-studded squad for the ICC World Test Championship final because Rohit Sharma and co. are already without first-choice wicketkeeper Pant and backup gloveman KL Rahul for the summit match against Australia.

The legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has selected the star-studded XI of the Asian giants for the upcoming clash at the Oval.

India and Australia are expected to renew their rivalry when they face off in the ICC World Test Championship final.

Gavaskar named in-structure Shubman Gill as the initial accomplice of captain Rohit prior to holding the No.3 and No.4 batting positions for veteran player Cheteshwar Pujara and run-machine Virat Kohli.

“In my batting discussion, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill would bat one-two. Virat Kohli is placed fourth, followed by (Cheteshwar) Pujara. Ajinkya Rahane receives 5 points.

No. Gavaskar stated to Star Sports, “6 is where there is just a little bit of a concern.” Will Bharat stay the officeholder subsequent to saving wickets for India in the whole Boundary Gavaskar Prize?

By favoring the Andhra star over Kishan, legendary batsman Gavaskar has settled the debate.

“I would assume that no. 6 would be either Ishan Kishan or (Srikar) Bharat. Because he has participated in all of these matches thus far, they are discussing Bharat. So will presumably stay with Bharat at six,” Gavaskar noticed.

The former India captain asserted that seamer Shardul Thakur can complement the fast bowling duo of Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj in the final when discussing the Asian giants’ pace bowling attack.

No. Jadeja (Ravindra) is number 7. If this is a bright day and a bright prediction. Jadeja and (Ravichandran) Ashwin should be ranked No. 7 and No. 8. No. Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and possibly Shardul Thakur will be on numbers 9, 10, and 11.

Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, KS Bharat (wicketkeeper).

Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Shardul Thakur are the captains of the team.
