Auckland Aces, Canterbury Kings, Central Stags, Northern Brave, Otago Volts, and Wellington Firebirds will be the usual six teams in Super Smash 2022/23. With four victories each, Auckland Aces and Wellington Firebirds are the competition’s most successful teams, while Northern Brave are the defending champions.
At the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on December 23, Northern Knights and Canterbury will meet for the first time in the 18th season of the Men’s Super Smash T20 League. There will be 32 matches, including the final, in the tournament’s double round-robin format.
The top three teams will decide who goes to the playoffs. The elimination final will take place on February 9, 2023, while the Super Smash 2022-23 final will take place on February 11, 2023.
