Tchouameni: He believes if one is hungry and ambitious in life for winning titles, then Real Madrid is the destination. For Tchouaméni Red Madrid is undoubtedly the best club in the world and he wishes to win the maximum trophies possible here.
In a recent interview with official media channels of the club, Aurélien Tchouaméni said while sharing the news of his entry as Real Madrid,
“I’m very happy to be here, it’s a dream come true. I’ve had the chance to look around the city a bit and Real Madrid City as well. It’s simply the best club in the world. If you’re ambitious, hungry to win titles, and be among the best, you have to come to Real Madrid. They play the best football, have the best players, and are the best team in the world. They won the Champions League, that shows there’s nobody better in Europe”.
“It’s been an incredible season for the club, for the fans, for the team… I followed all the games and chatted about them with Karim (Benzema) and Eduardo (Camavinga). I watched them play and what they have done in the Champions League is incredible. Then in LaLiga as well. It’s been a great season for the team”.
What is his motivation?
“I’m hungry, as soon as I turn up for pre-season, I’m going to give it everything I have to adapt to the team and work together for the amazing campaign we have coming up”.
When asked about the trophy haul of Real Madrid….
He said, “It’s remarkable, I have seen the Champions League trophies on my phone and TV but seeing them in person, you get a sense of the grandeur. They make me eager to get started with the season right away and work with the team so we can keep bringing more trophies and make a contribution to this club. Every trophy, hopefully, the fifteenth European Cup, but also LaLiga, the Club World Cup… This is Real Madrid, which means every game we play, we have to win it. I want to win every possible trophy here”.
When asked about his opinion about Benzema he said,
“I’m lucky enough to play alongside him for the national team. The first time I got to line up with him I realized what an exceptional player he is. You can see that on TV, but playing with him even more so”.
“It’s a beautiful thing. He helps the team’s play flow, he’s the best forward in the world right now”.
Camavinga- What was his opinion about him?
“He encouraged me to come. He told me I’d adapt quickly and that I’d get along well with the coaches and the players. He said if I wanted to win titles, I have to come to Real Madrid, so I’ve made the right choice”.
When asked about his style of playing he said, “I’m a powerful central midfielder who recovers the ball well and has technical quality too. I try to read situations quickly to make sure both I and the team play well. I can be decisive in terms of scoring as well, with some good passing. These are my attributes”.
Casemiro, Modrić, and Kroos:
“They complement each other perfectly. Each one has its characteristics. Casemiro is a real physical powerhouse with incredible athletic qualities and he wins most of the balls he challenges for. Toni Kroos is another player with real quality, they’re among the best in Europe. And Luka Modrić is pure class, I just played against him with Croatia and I was able to witness his quality first-hand”.
