The sponsorship agreements for the Indian team’s jerseys ended in March 2023. At the time, Team India’s sponsors were Killer and Byju’s. Adidas thereafter became a sponsor of the BCCI’s uniform design. For the ICC World Test Championship Final versus Australia, Adidas not only created the Indian uniform but also served as its only sponsor.
The BCCI issued a tender call shortly after the WTC Final to find a main sponsor for the Indian cricket team’s uniforms. The rights were acquired by fantasy sports website Dream11 for the next four years.
Earlier today, the first shirt featuring the emblem of the new sponsor was presented, and players including Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, and Ajinkya Rahane posed for portraits.
